Reintroducing Bob Dylan For A New Generation

Disney wasn't after noise for the release of A Complete Unknown, they needed to cut through to Gen Z and the tension was clear: Bob Dylan is timeless, but every generation needs its own way in. 

The unlock sat in Rolling Stone itself, a title that’s evolved alongside Dylan for decades. So we created 'A Complete Renaissance', a modern reimagining of Dylan’s first Rolling Stone cover, rebuilt with Timothée Chalamet as the bridge between legacy and now. 

It extended into a limited-edition zine (physical and digital), editorial across Rolling Stone, and a vinyl listening event that tapped into the analog revival with younger audiences. 

The result: Dylan reintroduced through a lens that felt current, Rolling Stone reinforcing its authority and enough cultural cut-through that Chalamet himself asked for a copy.
